Great breakfast spot. Food is great and so is service and atmosphere. Was only place open due to winter season.

Awesome-sauce!!!

Disappointing... I used to come to Village Cafe after the end of every visit to Door County and look forward to it. Not anymore...Our waitress was friendly but you would be lucky to get a smile out of the hostess. The food is not as good as it used to be. They must have a different chef. I ordered coffee cake and the bottom half of the cake was hard. It seemed like they put it in the microwave to warm it up. They brought out a new piece and it was much better. I just didn't understand why you would ruin coffee cake like that! The seasoned potatoes were always my favorite and they messed that up too... They used to make them perfectly crispy on the outside. They brought me out new potatoes and they didn't taste any different just hotter... If something is not broken, don't try and fix it! I have been here many times before and have never complained about their food. If anything, I was ranting to everyone about how good it was and recommended it! I do feel like they shouldn't have charged me for the coffee cake because in my eyes that is something that shouldn't happen. I really hope this place fixes these things because I am no longer excited about coming here.

A slice of coffee cake was big enough for 4 people.

This is our favorite breakfast spot in door County. Our first weekend trip, we ate yet numerous times. The service and food are excellent. We loved it so much that we drove from sturgeon Bay just to eat breakfast here again when we were in the area. The coffee cake is AMAZING and definitely plenty to be shared by 2+ people.

On the north end of town and deep in our hearts. This is a neat little cafe. There's more parking behind the cafe. The food is delicious, plentiful, and a wide selection. They serve everything from gyros, burgers, wraps, salads, gluten-free meals and began meals.

Picked this place for brunch after camping because it seemed like a really neat place to eat on our way out of town. When we got there it was really busy, which is usually a good sign in my books. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. However, our food took almost an hour to get to us after we ordered. All of the people who had been seated around the same time we were, ordered got their food, and ate it before we had gotten ours. When I finally asked the waitress if our food was coming soon, she said she was headed back there right now to get it. She came promptly back with our food, which had probably been sitting in the back for several minutes. Both my meal, and my girlfriends meal were luke warm at best. Because we had not eaten since 4pm the day before, we polished off the food despite the temperature. The food was still pretty good, which is a bummer because I'll bet it would have been amazing if served right away. Overall, a little better attention from our server would have made a whole lot of difference.
